Position: Surge Protection Sales Manager - (ERICO) North America

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and drive sales strategy while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
  • Conduct market research to identify team sales growth opportunities and competitive positioning
  • Build and maintain high‑level relationships with Key Accounts across the U.S. and Canada
  • Lead and mentor sales teams on application and value‑based selling of surge protection products
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assure direction on products, processes, and strategies
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, ideally with surge protection or switch gear
  • Proven experience leading outside and inside sales teams
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Previous experience in surge protection sales or related fields
  • Strong value‑based selling and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with engineering workshops and on‑site surveys
  • Familiarity with market growth strategies and product management
  • Knowledge of rebate programs and local branch marketing initiatives
