What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations
- Manage territory activities including prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation skills, and closing strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and telephone skills
- Proficiency with MS Office software and CRM technology, such as Sales Force
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in educational publishing or event management
- Proven track record of success in revenue growth and customer relationship management
- Familiarity with telecommuting software such as Zoom, Web Ex, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with peers and customers
