Job Overview

Rockridge is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Sales Representative to guide customers through the exciting process of designing and purchasing post-frame buildings, commercial and industrial projects, barndominiums, and steel/building kits. This is a commission-only role with strong bonus potential—ideal for someone who thrives on building connections and closing deals without high-pressure tactics. The ideal candidate understands basic construction concepts, communicates clearly, and can manage a busy pipeline from initial contact to signed contract.

Responsibilities
  • Respond quickly to leads via phone, text, email, and social media
  • Build relationships with potential clients and understand their vision
  • Qualify leads and gather project details (budget, site, timeline)
  • Design custom building layouts with clients and prepare detailed proposals
  • Explain pricing, materials, and timelines in clear, accessible language
  • Follow up consistently to move leads through the pipeline
  • Maintain detailed notes and update CRM or sales board regularly
  • Coordinate with the project management team to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Stay current on product offerings, supplier updates, and pricing changes
  • Provide excellent customer service from first contact through project kickoff
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in construction, real estate, or design
  • Basic construction knowledge—especially in post-frame, barndominiums, or steel buildings—is a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • High level of organization and follow-through
  • Ability to design basic building layouts and work through customer needs
  • Tech-savvy—comfortable with CRM tools, email, and digital quoting
  • Self‑motivated and able to manage a high volume of leads
  • Honest, dependable, and customer‑first mindset

Schedule

Full‑Time | Monday–Friday

Location

Hybrid Role – Work from home, office, and meet clients on‑site as needed. Based in the greater Rockridge area; local travel expected.
