The Sales Support Representative is responsible for ensuring a smooth customer journey on all orders. This role will have assigned customer accounts whose orders they will follow from quote to delivery. Must be extremely focused on delivering top-tier customer service. The position also requires ongoing product training, product quoting, sales order entry and various other support related tasks. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in customer service and sales.
The Sales Support Representative will report directly to the Sales Support Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Accurately enter all quotes and orders into the system, ensuring that all details are correct.
- Communicate all order updates to customers from the time of order entry through delivery.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide assistance when needed.
- Adhere to the required turnaround time for all quotes and orders to meet customer expectations.
- Work with the Cook’s vendor group to obtain equipment and installation quotes.
- Work with the Cook’s transportation vendors to obtain white glove delivery quotes.
- Provide the customer with order tracking.
- Process return/credit forms.
- Assist with warranty requests.
- Maintain accurate customer cards.
- Participate in ongoing product training to stay updated on new products, features, and pricing strategies.
- Answer incoming calls to the support phone queue.
- Ensure the shared inbox is up-to-date and that any outstanding issues are addressed or noted for follow‑up.
- Answer any customer requests for new quotes or orders.
- Review all open quotes and orders for changes or delays.
- Track shipped orders and notify customers of expected delivery dates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure all customers are taken care of.
- Customer focused.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable with light negotiation, such as requesting extra discounts or perks from vendors.
- Interest in sales and willingness to support the sales team.
- Experience in customer service and data entry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
- $55-60k annually
