Mueller Water Products – Sales Enablement Manager
Mueller Water Products (NYSE: MWA) is a leading manufacturer and marketer of products and services used in the transmission, distribution and measurement of water and gas in North America. We are seeking a Sales Enablement Manager to support the Intelligent Networks sales team across the U.S. and Canada. This remote-based role is not a direct selling position, but plays a critical part in enabling sales success by equipping the team with tools, training, content, and processes that drive revenue growth across pressure management, leak detection, condition assessment, and water quality solutions.
Reporting to the Senior Director, this role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure salespeople are prepared, informed, and supported throughout the customer journey. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, supporting both customer acquisition and retention. Compensation includes a competitive base salary and a sales incentive plan aligned with quota achievement.
Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted partner to the sales team by providing pre- and post-sale support, including feasibility reviews, proposals, price quoting and technical presentations.
- Lead the preparation of quotations, proposals, and formal responses to RFPs and public tenders.
- In partnership with the Product and Customer Acquisition teams, develop sales playbooks, competitive positioning, and solution messaging tailored to Intelligent Networks offerings.
- Provide technical application support, including feasibility studies and custom solution frameworks for non-standard projects.
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, collateral, case studies, and demos to support solution selling.
- Coordinate onboarding, training, and continuous learning programs to improve sales effectiveness.
- Partner with Product Management to translate technical features into customer-focused value propositions.
- Identify, optimize, and automate internal processes like Salesforce data management, sales processes, reporting standards etc.
- Manage multiple client engagements concurrently, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality and responsiveness.
- Other duties as assigned
- Engineering, Science or related degree.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships.
- Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations in project delivery.
- Ability to provide technical support for technologies.
- Trained in project management
- Minimum four (4) years of work experience in technical and/or sales roles, preferably in the water industry
- Ability to work independently to drive customer success in assigned territory
- Passion to grow and develop career with a growth-oriented company
- Ability to travel, up to 25% of the time, including Canada and U.S. travel.
