Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid position for a Sales Representative based in the Greater Rockford Area
, with partial work-from-home flexibility.

• Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients.
• Identifying new business opportunities and executing strategic sales plans.
• Meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Conducting client meetings, understanding customer needs, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Staying informed about market trends to drive consistent revenue growth.
• Regular local travel within the Rockford area; the rep must live near Rockford, as windshield time is essential for customer development and retention.

• Sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving or surpassing sales goals.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with solid organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel locally and adapt to a hybrid work model.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred).

• Knowledge of the food industry—including produce, dairy, and spices—is a plus.
• Culinary background is strongly preferred, especially for candidates pursuing higher compensation tiers.
• Experience in produce wholesale is valuable and may qualify the candidate for a higher starting salary.
