What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and execute sales strategies while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
  • Conduct market research to identify sales growth opportunities and competitive positioning
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with Key Accounts across the U.S. and Canada
  • Drive revenue achievement through engagement with job sites, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Educate and mentor sales teams on application and value-based selling of surge protection products
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, specifically with surge protection or switch gear
  • Proven experience leading outside and inside sales teams
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the U.S. and Canada, including overnight trips
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in negotiating and managing high-level contracts for Key Accounts
  • Familiarity with construction project sites and physically capable of navigating them
  • Strong value-based selling skills and interpersonal abilities for customer negotiations
