What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Manage and grow business through consistent communication with assigned owners and internal teams
  • Coach and train top retail sellers on products, programs, and technologies at the farm-gate level
  • Execute strategic plans using tools like the Account Plan and Farmer by Farmer (FxF) Plan
  • Coordinate with local manufacturer representatives and manage discretionary trial seed Record all relevant account details in CRM software (Salesforce)
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a business-related field plus 2 years of industry or direct sales experience; or 7 years of successful work experience in industry or direct sales
  • Proactive communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills

    Technical agriculture product/crop expertise and ability to educate others on products and services
  • Ability to work independently, manage productivity, and adapt quickly to change
  • Must have a current and valid state driver’s license
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in a fast-paced sales environment with a focus on agricultural products
  • Strong project management skills and experience using virtual collaboration tools
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor others effectively
