Overview

Diamond V - Regional Sales Manager - Dairy (Animal Feed Additives). This is a home office role but needs to reside in Central Valley California (Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, San Joaquin). Up to 75% travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.

• Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships.
• With guidance conduct market research and pricing, sales, and merchandising activities.
• Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
• Protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.
• Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.
• Responsible for achieving sales goals and maintaining expense budget.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience in sales, business development in feed additives or dairy industry or related field
• Experience with technical sales, able to provide technical support to dairies, nutritionists, and veterinarians
• Experience in the dairy industry - feed or ruminant nutrition
• Able and willing to travel up to 75%
• Valid driver’s license in good standing

• Minimum of six years of sales experience
• Sales experience in animal nutrition, feed, animal health, additives, supplements

The expected salary for this position is $75,000 – $150,000. Compensation varies depending on location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for geographic differences. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and personal performance.
