Overview
Account Executive - Online Division - Grand Canyon University, Temple, TX territory. Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is a rapidly growing educational service company that provides educational, operational and technological support to the post-secondary education sector. The role supports Grand Canyon University students by guiding prospective students from application through the first classes in our online programs.
Starting salary is $75,000 per year with the potential to reach a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.
New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.
Responsibilities- Strategy and execution: identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory, build awareness of our online programs in education, healthcare and business, and drive inquiry generation. Develop high-impact partnerships for your territory and execute your daily work through presentations, calls and emails.
- Partner and influencer: provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners; champion the GCE mission and promote student success and institutional growth.
- Heart and Hustle: work independently in a community-based role with ambitious targets; guide prospective students through the admissions process and help them choose the right path for online learning.
- Bachelor’s degree required. No delinquent or default on a federal student loan, as verified in your credit report. If in rehabilitation, your credit report must show current payments.
- Outstanding time management and the ability to prioritize competing priorities, including traveling as needed.
- Clear communication skills: able to explain concepts in person, in writing and on the phone; well-developed listening skills.
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed; take ownership of your work with Grand Canyon University students.
- High emotional intelligence with ability to coach a diverse range of students and develop partner relationships; demonstrate empathy.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a flexible schedule; extensive travel within your territory; some evening/weekend availability.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
