* While this role operates remotely, candidates must reside in the Western Region of the United States (Pacific Time, Mountain Time, or Arizona). We are not considering candidates in the Bay Area.
Yelp connects people with great local businesses. As an Account Executive, you’ll work directly with small business owners to help them meet their goals through Yelp’s advertising programs. We succeed when we find tailored solutions that grow our clients’ businesses.
What You’ll Do- Educate, strategize, and discuss Yelp advertising programs via a high volume of outbound dialing to business owners.
- Work one of the following schedules (local time): 7:30‑4:30, 8:30‑5:30, or 9:30‑6:30.
- Own and manage a pipeline of clients ranging from dentists to florists to restaurant owners – all organized in our CRM (Salesforce).
- Work from the comfort of your home on a Monday‑Friday schedule.
- Become an expert in Yelp’s advertising solutions and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Master quick‑close techniques to exceed individual goals.
- Navigate the initial call to qualification to close process, ensuring lasting customer satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly quotas with a strong work ethic and tenacity.
- Track and manage daily goals to meet results.
- Appetite for learning and turning training into action.
- Comfortable multitasking across many tabs and screens.
- Proficiency with new tools and software such as Google Suite and Salesforce.
- Curious, asking questions to find answers.
- Enjoys working with a distributed team.
- Committed to integrity and teamwork.
- Persuasive communicator and resilient.
- Genuinely curious about people and local businesses.
- Adapts quickly to new challenges and conversations.
- GED/HS Diploma and 2+ years of customer‑facing experience or a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound dials daily.
- General computer and email proficiency (Google Suite; Mac Book provided).
- Work environment free of distractions.
- Open to feedback and improvement.
- Strong, engaging interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Current U.S. work authorization.
- Starting base salary of $37 k annually.
- Eligible to earn uncapped commission.
- Average year‑1 on‑target compensation around $50 k.
