Job Title: Industrial Regional Sales Manager

What we’re looking forWe are looking for Regional Sales Manager for our Industrial Refrigeration Business. Hillphoenix is known for its forward-thinking technology and wide range of refrigeration system products. Region under consideration for coverage is the Central US.
What you’ll be responsible for- Conduct sales calls to assigned accounts as well as prospective customers to explain the products and services that our company offers.
- Actively pursue and establish relationships with industrial refrigeration channel partners resulting in broader exposure to project opportunities that lead to specific revenue growth targets.
- Manage and provide support to contracted Industrial Manufacturers Representative groups within the specific region.
- Qualify account needs while identifying key mobilizers within a retailer’s organization.
- Create and close sales.
- Establish a commitment to forecasting business revenue on a month, quarter and annual basis.
- Build an annual strategic sales plan for the specific region.
- As the key single point of contact with customers in your specific region of influence, handle price objections, negotiations, preparation of bids and aftermarket support to strengthen the relationship.
- Model a collaborative atmosphere with our customer base that seeks to solve complex problems.
- Record, update, and analyze account information to identify sales strategies and objectives.
- Gather information on emerging trends within our industry from various sources.
- Continually be aware of the expectations and needs of our customers.
- Process requests for literature and vendor product information.
- The RSM will be expected to visit with customers on a regular basis; minimum expected cycle is 4-6 weeks or sooner if required.
- In support of channel development and incremental revenue growth, facilitate training and interact with key individuals within the Hillphoenix organization.
- Visit with end users promoting the Industrial product solutions.
- Leverage existing relationships that may yield Industrial opportunities.
- Utilize field sales support—Field Sales & Industrial Refrigerating Application Specialist to strengthen position with potential channel partners.
- This is a remote office position and the salesperson will be required to maintain a home office.
- 3+ years’ experience in technical sales
- Minimum 3+ years Industrial Refrigeration experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience and working understanding of Transcritical CO2 refrigeration systems
- Willingness to travel regularly
- Excellent communication and telephone skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work as a team player
- Strong knowledge of Refrigeration Equipment including HFC and CO2-based equipment
- Strong knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration industry including cold storage and food processing applications
