What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls/emails from commercial insurance prospects, educating clients about coverage needs
  • Research and prospect potential commercial insurance customers to close sales
  • Write quality risk policies based on underwriting requirements and provide tailored insurance solutions
  • Complete necessary applications and forms, issue conditional contracts, and collect payments to finalize sales
  • Provide ongoing customer service and sales support, including cross-selling additional products
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate studies preferred
  • Minimum of three years of related work experience in sales and insurance
  • State licensing as required for property/casualty products
  • Advanced knowledge of sales techniques and commercial insurance products
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with prospective customers
