Position: Surge Protection Sales Manager - (ERICO) North America

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Develop and execute sales strategies while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and understand competitive landscapes
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with Key Accounts across the U.S. and Canada
  • Collaborate with various business functions to align on products, processes, and strategies
  • Drive revenue growth through engagement with contractors, panel shops, and end users
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical electrical sales, especially in surge protection or switch gear
  • Proven experience leading outside and inside sales teams
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time throughout the U.S. and Canada, including overnight trips
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Previous experience in surge protection or switch gear sales
  • Strong value-based selling and negotiation skills
  • Experience in educating and mentoring sales teams on product applications
  • Ability to navigate construction project sites and hold a valid driver’s license
  • Familiarity with market training and local branch marketing initiatives
