What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Develop and execute sales strategies while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with key accounts across the US and Canada
  • Drive revenue growth through various channels including contractors, panel shops, and end users
  • Educate and mentor sales teams on application and value-based selling of ERICO Surge Products
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, with a focus on surge protection or switch gear sales
  • Proven experience leading inside and outside sales teams
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for guiding customers towards solutions
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with surge protection or switch gear sales specifically
  • Familiarity with construction project sites and ability to navigate them physically
  • Prior experience in value-based selling techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and trends in electrical solutions
