Custom Cylinders specializes in manufacturing high-quality pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders tailored to meet customer needs. With in-house machining and assembly capabilities, we deliver precision-engineered solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing existing accounts
. The primary focus will be on selling pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, with additional opportunities to promote other fluid power components.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions using our product offerings.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Proven experience in industrial sales
, preferably in fluid power components (pneumatic/hydraulic cylinders, valves, fittings, etc.). - Strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience selling pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders is highly preferred.
- Experience with other fluid power components beyond cylinders.
- Technical background or familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Experience building a sales team would be a plus.
We offer a competitive compensation package. Compensation will be a combination of base salary, commission, and any product specific incentives.
