Position: Entry Level Insurance Sales Training Position – Wholesale Marketing Representative

Location: Raritan Plaza III, 105 Fieldcrest Ave., Suite 200, Edison, NJ

This role consists of a 24‑month training and development program designed to prepare participants to become sales professionals. The focus of the program is to increase new submissions, quotes, and premium through promotion of retail web‑based and telephone quoting systems.

• Conduct at least 20 meetings with customers (in person or via video) per week to demonstrate web and phone quoting capabilities and register new users, driving new business submissions.
• Weekly report on sales meetings held and forecast upcoming meetings.
• Follow up and maintain continuous communication with customers/prospects to capitalize on additional opportunities.
• Systematic prospecting and arranging meetings with potential new customers, especially those not yet reaching their potential.
• Build and maintain relationships with key contacts to ensure we do business with the right people in each retail operation.
• Collaborate with team to review web activity, spot trends, and address both positive and negative trends immediately.
• Maintain an active relationship with the Regional Sales Manager and regularly discuss strategy, tactics, travel, and follow‑up.
• Pursue continuing education, insurance designations, and licenses as outlined in the training plan (self‑study required).

Not a work‑from‑home position. Candidates are expected to work in the agency. Local travel to meet prospects and attend networking events is required; overnight travel is limited to annual training conferences in Pennsylvania.

• College degree or equivalent business experience (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and organizational skills, networking and relationship building, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload, meet critical deadlines, and remain flexible under pressure.
• Open to coaching and continuous improvement.
• Commitment to pursuing continuing education and insurance designations/licenses (self‑study required).
