About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, results-driven and self-motivated Mid-Market Account
Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales
environment and is passionate about solving critical challenges in compliance, anti-money
laundering (AML), and enhanced due diligence (EDD).
You will be responsible for acquiring and growing mid-market accounts, primarily targeting
global financial institutions, risk consultancies, and advisory firms.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals for
mid-market accounts - Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in compliance,
AML, EDD, and executive leadership (C-Suite) - Collaborate with Marketing to convert qualified leads into opportunities
- Deliver product demos and guide prospects through proof-of-concept or trial phases
- Understand each prospect's risk management workflows to tailor Valital's value
proposition accordingly - Negotiate and close annual SaaS subscriptions and multi-year deals
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline data using Pipedrive
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer insights and
market trends
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–7 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in Reg Tech, Fin Tech, or
compliance-related software - Proven track record of closing mid-market deals in the $5K–$25K ACV range
- Strong understanding of compliance, third-party risk, AML, or reputational risk a
major asset - Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating complex buying
groups - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English; other languages is an asset
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup
environment
