Overview

Diamond V - Regional Sales Manager - Dairy (Animal Feed Additives).

This is a home office role that must reside in Central Valley California (Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, San Joaquin). Up to 75% travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.

• Identify potential customers and manage existing customer relationships.
• With guidance, conduct market research, pricing, sales, and merchandising activities.
• Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
• Protect, grow, and diversify relationships with targeted customers.
• Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.
• Achieve sales goals and manage the expense budget.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex issues as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience in sales or business development in feed additives or dairy industry or related field
• Experience with technical sales and providing technical support to dairies, nutritionists, and veterinarians
• Experience in the dairy industry - feed or ruminant nutrition
• Able and willing to travel up to 75%
• Valid driver’s license in good standing

• Minimum of six years of sales experience
• Sales experience in animal nutrition, feed, animal health, additives, or supplements

The expected salary for this position is $75,000 – $150,000. Compensation varies based on location, certifications, education, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and individual performance.
