As our Sales Representative, you will be assigned to our Toronto territory, being responsible for cultivating relationships with new prospects, building the Liebherr brand and maintaining ongoing relationships with existing customers. You will be instrumental in furthering business development and will be expected to increase revenue growth in the assigned region/territory. Through solid understanding of the potential and current customer base, and interaction with decision makers, you will be responsible for solution based sales resulting in a strong presence and market share for Liebherr.
Extensive experience and network in the defined product line is essential for this key role. (Excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, material handlers)
Responsibilities
Identify and implement opportunities to develop and grow the business and maximize revenueLeverage existing relationships and knowledge of the industry and trending to market the product offeringEducate customers on aftermarket service, warranties, and technical support to enhance the after sale value of our productInitiate, establish and maintain key relationships in the industryBuild long term relationships with the customer baseWork closely with internal teams to ensure customers' success and satisfactionComplete all aspects of the sales process from identification to completion including the preparation of detailed quotations and product presentations and demonstrationsMaintain a high level of knowledge of Liebherr machine specifications, features and benefits and provide information to the customer, ensuring the value proposition and solution meets the customer needsConduct account analysis and revenue forecast reviews regularly to ensure efforts are being made so new prospects and opportunities are being added to the channel to drive margin improvementManage territory based on plan for the year and visit customers on a regular basis as determined by the planUtilize internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track customer information and progressCompetencies
5+ years of demonstrated experience in Sales, inside the Heavy Equipment market.Industry knowledge and network with an ability to quickly learn the Liebherr product setProven success in all facets of account development and managementSales-focused, responsive, innovative and strategicFinancial and non-financial skills to drive profitability and market penetrationExpert relationship builder, initiator and negotiatorAbility to visit customer sites and interact directly with owners, operators and stakeholders at all levelsWillingness to travel occasionally travel in Canada and to EuropeOur Offer
