About the Role
The Sales Executive in the Tax & Accounting Professionals Large client segment is responsible for retaining and growing the existing account base and acquiring new accounts within their geographic area of responsibility. Their territory consists of customers and prospects with 30+ professionals. The Sales Executive position is a virtual role, requiring excellent telephone and writing skills.
What You Will Do- Attain monthly sales quotas.
- Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to customers.
- Provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration.
- Assist with customer-related issues to maintain good customer relations.
- Complete weekly sales performance reports and complete all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
- Drive strategic initiatives supported by the assigned account team consisting of a Sales Development Representative, Client Executive and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in the assigned territory.
- Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles (such as utilizing Flash/EMS/Salesforce).
- Attend sales meetings and conventions as required.
- Manage open territories when they are available.
- Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience with a proven track record of quota attainment.
- Software as a Service Sales (SaaS) experience is a plus.
- Experience selling tax/accounting/audit solutions including UT, GST, One Source, Audit, Checkpoint, AI solutions, Co‑Counsel and more.
- Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings and presentations.
- Strong prospecting and closing skills.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Ambitious self‑starter with high energy and motivation.
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude.
- Continuous learner, flexible and open‑minded, positive attitude.
- High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethics.
