Sales Development Rep/SDR, Inside Sales
Location: Open to candidates in South Africa
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM SAST
Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
We’re looking for a highly motivated Appointment Setter to join our dynamic, growth-driven team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for engaging potential clients, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments for our sales or client success teams. You’ll play a key part in driving business growth through meaningful conversations and professional follow-ups that convert interest into opportunity.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct outbound and follow‑up calls with potential clients or warm inbound leads.
- Introduce company services, qualify leads based on set criteria, and schedule appointments for the sales team.
- Utilise CRM software to track interactions, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and client teams to ensure a smooth handover and consistent follow‑through.
- Make every conversation count — ensuring prospects feel comfortable, heard, and valued.
- Provide feedback and insights on lead quality, performance trends, and areas for improvement.

- Proven experience as an Appointment Setter, Telemarketer, or in a similar client‑facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in handling objections and overcoming challenges.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Self‑motivated, accountable, and driven to achieve measurable results.
- Coachable, adaptable, and open to feedback in a high‑performance environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in marketing, sales, or communications is a plus.
