Sr Client Partner – Business Channel Management
Position are looking for a results‑driven Sr. Client Partner to drive growth within our Mobility Co‑Sell Program.
What You’ll Be Doing- Manage a portfolio of named VAR partners, maintaining active C‑Level relationships across all accounts to ensure strategic alignment and serve as their primary point of entry into the broader Verizon ecosystem.
- Function as a strategic consultant to your named partners, assessing partner performance and analysing their capabilities against Verizon’s strategic focus areas.
- Serve as the primary advocate for the Co‑Sell model to internal Verizon direct sellers and sales leadership; clearly articulate why partnering with VARs benefits their direct sales goals.
- Engage with direct sellers to identify joint opportunities and bridge the gap between direct sales and partner capabilities.
- Deliver high‑quality sales engagements characterized by clear agendas, pre‑meeting expectation setting, detailed planning, and prompt post‑meeting follow‑up.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to further penetrate accounts and drive activations with assigned area and regional team members.
- Negotiate contracts and identify and close contract opportunities.
- Manage funnel and partner performance.
- Deliver a superior customer experience.
- Execute complex project management.
Primary qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Knowledge and experience with Mobility Co‑sell partners, products and solutions.
- Business sales or account management experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Close proximity to an airport and the ability to travel 60% of the time.
- A Master’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience leading a sales team in a commission‑based sales environment.
- Prospecting, funnel management and account management experience, ideally with major or national accounts.
- Managed competing priorities with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and closing skills.
- Channel experience.
- Experience designing, proposing, selling, and contracting for complex solutions.
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
Scheduled Weekly Hours40 hours per week.
