REMOTE - Business Development Representative (Outbound New Business)

What This Role Is:You're the first voice prospects hear from Single File. You generate new pipelines by identifying organizations that need what we offer, getting decision-makers on the phone, and setting qualified meetings for our Account Executives.
Your Day-to-Day- Make 80-100+ cold calls daily to prospects Single File hasn't worked with before
- Research target accounts to understand their practice areas, structure, and potential pain points
- Navigate past gatekeepers with persistence and professionalism
- Qualify prospects on budget, authority, need, and timeline in quick discovery calls
- Set 30+ SQL meetings per month that convert into pipeline
- Track all activity and outcomes in Hub Spot
- Use Zoom Info and other tools to build targeted prospect lists
- You love the phone. You're energized by conversations, not drained by them. Calling is your strength.
- You're hungry. You're motivated by hitting numbers, earning commission, and proving what you can do.
- You're resilient. Rejection doesn't faze you—it's just part of finding the yes.
- You're professional. You know how to be persistent without being pushy, confident without being arrogant.
- You're organized. You manage high activity volumes while keeping your pipeline and CRM clean.
- You're coachable. You take feedback, iterate on what works, and get better every week.
- 2+ years as an SDR/BDR at a B2B SaaS company in an outbound-focused role
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota through cold outreach
- Experience generating new business pipeline (not managing existing accounts)
- Strong phone skills and ability to qualify prospects quickly
- Familiarity with Hub Spot, Zoom Info, Outreach, or similar tools
- Experience prospecting into legal, compliance, or financial services
- Background at an early-stage startup where you built pipeline from scratch
- Located in Mountain or Pacific time zones
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 + commission
