Online Sales Counselor serves as the first source of customer engagement with Risewell Homes. The mission is to capture, qualify, and convert online and phone-based leads into qualified appointments for the onsite sales teams. The goal is to create a seamless, responsive experience that enhances homebuyer engagement and drives community traffic and sales conversion.
Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for all digital and phone inquiries.
- Qualify leads using current sales training, CRM workflows, and division-specific criteria.
- Nurture leads through consistent follow-up from initial inquiry to the point of sale.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for onsite sales agents, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with marketing and sales teams to align lead management strategies.
- Accurately input, manage, and track all lead activity in the CRM (Hub Spot), ensuring full pipeline visibility and reporting integrity.
- Proactively drive traffic through outreach efforts, including phone calls, social media, events, and realtor engagement. Consistently follow up on leads from multiple sources, maintain regular prospect communication, and support self-prospecting initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of realtors by providing weekly updates on inventory homes, upcoming events, and community information, ensuring the company is their primary point of contact within the market.
- Represent the company by attending realtor functions, grand openings, sales trainings, and division-sponsored events.
- Monitor and analyze competitive communities to assess market position and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Achieve lead-to-appointment conversion goals established by the division.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Valid Real Estate License (where applicable by state).
- 1–2+ years of experience in internet sales or other lead-driven sales roles preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong expertise in Excel, and experienced in using Hub Spot CRM for daily activities and lead tracking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and guide customers through the decision-making process.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable presenting and selling over the phone.
- Availability to work one weekend day; depending on the division, both weekend days may be required.
The estimated annual base compensation for this position is between $55,000 - $60,000 per year (plus commission). Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.

Physical RequirementsThis role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk (including uneven terrain), bend, reach, climb stairs, and lift or carry items up to 25 pounds. Candidates must have full-color vision, adequate hearing, and the ability to communicate clearly and type efficiently. Proficiency with computers, including the use of a keyboard and calculator, is essential.
Work is performed in both office and field settings. The primary environment is a division office with a low to moderate noise level, involving extended computer use, paperwork, and phone communication. The secondary environment includes active construction sites, where conditions may involve moderate noise, heat, cold, and inclement weather.
The position also requires operating a motor vehicle, visiting jobsites regularly, and reading construction plans. Because the role involves frequent public contact, professional appearance and appropriate business attire are expected.
