The RoleWe’re looking for a motivated Sales Associate who understands the automotive and mobility landscape—someone who knows what customers expect when choosing a vehicle and can deliver a high-trust, high-quality experience.
As a Senior Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of Roam. You will guide customers through our subscription process—from initial inquiry to vehicle handoff—ensuring they feel supported, informed, and excited. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in dealerships, car rental agencies, or mobility companies (e.g., Turo, Uber, Lyft) and understands how to build strong customer relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do- Convert inbound leads into satisfied subscribers by understanding their needs and matching them with the right vehicle plan.
- Conduct virtual or in-person consultations to explain Roam’s subscription model, pricing, and vehicle features.
- Follow up with prospective customers through calls, texts, and email to maximize conversion.
- Manage the full customer journey: onboarding, documentation, delivery coordination, and ongoing support.
- Assist with vehicle handoffs, returns, inspections, and light operational logistics as needed.
- Collaborate with operations, fleet, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Represent Roam with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a customer-first mindset
- 5+ years of sales experience within the automotive industry.
- You love helping people make confident decisions and are comfortable explaining products clearly.
- Comfortable handling objections, negotiating, and following up.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Hub Spot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Strong analytical mindset—you’re comfortable using data to drive decisions and measure impact.
- You thrive in fast-moving, startup-like environments and take ownership of outcomes.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- You can manage multiple leads while ensuring every customer receives a great experience.
