Looking for an Industrial Manufacturing Senior Software Sales position focused on manufacturing technology solutions. Opportunity for growth in a leadership role!

This role is perfect for a seasoned and experienced sales professional who thrives in a small, dynamic company environment and can independently originate new business opportunities. You'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing complex software solution deals with manufacturing organizations, particularly targeting their IT departments,

Primary Roles/Responsibilities Business Development & Sales
  • Independently originate new business opportunities in the manufacturing sector ($500K-$5M deal size).
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with IT executives, CIOs, and technology decision-makers.
  • Identify and pursue RFPs, competitive situations, and direct sales opportunities.
  • Develop compelling value propositions that resonate with manufacturing IT organizations.
  • Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying processes.
Industry Expertise & Solution Selling
  • Leverage deep manufacturing industry knowledge to identify technology pain points and opportunities.
  • Position custom development, low-code solutions, and our Client’s Solutions as strategic business enablers.
  • Understand manufacturing IT environments, integration challenges, and digital transformation initiatives.
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as trusted advisor to manufacturing IT leaders on technology strategy.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships that generate recurring revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Expand relationships within existing client organizations to drive account growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Mendix platform or other low-code/no-code solutions.
  • Experience with Siemens ecosystem and partner network.
Work Environment

Key Must Have’s
  • Degree, nice to have – but they are looking for someone who can “talk the language of the client and buyers, technically”.
  • They want this person to create opportunities – 100% hunting role, if something has been sold, they may call on a current account here or there but they need to use their industry knowledge to open new opportunities, get them sold, then over time if they are interested in helping to build the sales team like inside sales, more sales people etc.,

    they can grow into a sales leadership role but still sell.
  • Looking for sales leader that knows how to and have closed 6 – 7 figure deals and can talk to how they found them, how they cue’d these deals up, how long it takes to close and how they closed them. (Main focus would be selling software (re-occurring software) and if they coupled that with services, that is great, but Software is the most important thing they are looking to have this person sell in a consultative basis.)

  • Comfortable selling multi-year deals or multi-year renewals – software and services. Mandatory
  • This person must like working for a small company. Who can bring creativity to solving clients business problems and initiatives with this software.
  • Proficient on CRM Systems (They use Hubspot and Salesforce)
  • Understanding of software platforms that have prebuilt solutions that then can be customized and changed. Mandatory
  • This account wants the salesperson to have experience calling on in IT people up to the CIO for this type of sale. This is mandatory.
  • Consultative selling ability Mandatory
  • Should have a strong engineering and manufacturing knowledge in order to be able to impress and TALK to the client in terms that they will understand and resonate with them. Mandatory
