Business Development Representative
Skematic is a business unit of Financial Recovery Technologies, providing a comprehensive Compliance workflow management solution in the Reg Tech space. Primarily serving hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital firms since 2021, Skematic is driving efficiencies for compliance teams navigating the ever‑changing complexities of regulation in capital markets.
Responsibilities- Drive revenue growth by generating leads and securing meetings so sales executives can focus on closing deals.
- Make a high volume of cold calls each day to prospects.
- Grow Skematic’s market share by seeking out opportunities and converting prospects into qualified leads.
- Set appointments for AE’s & CRO and track metrics and performance against set targets.
- Work internally with sales management and marketing teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of all communications with prospects.
- Maintain a high level of competence using sales sequencing and CRM tools.
- A desire to make money for Skematic and themselves.
- A track record of high achievement and the desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
- Self‑starter mentality with an ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection daily.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Previous experience in a high‑volume outbound sales role.
- Experience working in Financial Services, Reg Tech, Compliance, or Fintech and selling to those clientele.

Base salary is experience dependent and can range from $65,000 - $75,000 a year + tiered commission structure (no cap).
