Job Description

This is a hybrid role including in‑office and remote working days. Candidates must be resident or relocatable to the Austin, TX area.

The Aesthetics Sales Associate (ASA) is a sales‑support position focused on growing the aesthetic market and supporting the aligned Sales division. The ASA is responsible for sales performance aligned to the portfolio of products and the Inside Sales team. Responsibilities include managing house accounts, leads, and target accounts in aligned regions, addressing non‑target account inquiries, and providing coverage to Inside Sales territories with a Leave of Absence (LOA) or vacancy.

Benefits include virtual training on Allergan Aesthetics products, utilization of marketing tools and resources to increase awareness and knowledge of the aesthetic market, guides for net new and emerging accounts, and close collaboration with sales management and peers to support sales goals and meet customer needs for training, education, and sales support.

The ASA will facilitate sales primarily via phone and virtual communication, manage sales activity in an assigned geography, and interact professionally with customers, the sales force, and upper management counterparts. Performance will be measured by a measure‑by‑objectives compensation plan focused on the aligned regions and the national Inside Sales facial division.

All internal requirements and applicable regulatory requirements, including ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies, must be complied with.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Utilize Inside Sales selling techniques to achieve sales objectives, focusing on market growth, product growth, and customer experience.
  • Support accounts in LOA or vacant territories, ensuring consistent communication with management and peers to meet sales goals and deliver a positive customer journey.
  • Manage new and existing customer accounts, sample allocation, order placement, marketing materials, and education on products, programs, and resources, including execution of campaigns, promotions, new product launches, and training on Allergan programs.
  • Respond to in‑bound calls from non‑target and house accounts, providing product and product‑related information and segmenting accounts based on potential sales opportunities.
  • Educate prospects/customers on indications, contraindications, safety of products, and application and use of company products.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives aligned to overall business unit priorities as needed.
  • Assist the IS Manager with program education by delivering virtual trainings on a regular schedule.
  • Collaborate with management and field counterparts to support sales objectives, cultivate client relationships, and generate actionable reports on calls and responses.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues and problems to exceed corporate expectations, formulating innovative solutions.
  • Attend sales training and meetings; maintain administrative responsibilities such as monthly sales reports, quarterly business plans, presentations, and expense reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required.
  • Preferable: 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Ability to work independently, stay highly organized, and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong sales performance or outstanding customer service.
