Sales Account Manager - Illinois, Indiana, Ohio

Chism Automation builds exceptional quality robotic, automated machinery, and assembly line automation. From our location in Somerset, Kentucky, we develop automated applications for regional manufacturers. This position is responsible for sales growth in the Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio region.

• Build new customer relationships
• Identify business opportunities
• Develop and implement strategies to generate leads
• Make customer visits to facilitate sales
• Improve and maintain CRM
• Professionally demonstrate Chism Automation’s capability and scope
• Document and understand customer needs
• Gather information and solutions to provide to applications engineer for quote preparation
• Effectively communicate with customers, account managers, and application engineers

• Strong technical skills (Preferred Engineering or Sales Engineering background)
• 5 years of technical sales experience
• Positive attitude and demeanor
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exceptional organization
• Strong work ethic and detail oriented
• Ability to travel up to 80% within region. Remainder of time is home based.
