Regional Product Manager – North American VIB Systems
Job responsibilities and tasks- Lead a team to manage and grow new equipment & spare parts sales, along with onsite technical service
- Ensure professional and timely response to customer enquiries (either email, virtual or physical)
- Overall responsible for top line growth and profitability
- Create and market preventative (regular) maintenance service plans
- Increase onsite service business
- Increase sales of new, replacement or upgraded equipment
- Support sales with visits, training and customer presentations
- Build sustainable and profitable product sourcing model
- Build customer relationships and contacts to corporate stakeholders
- Develop sales and marketing campaigns
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, in engineering, automation, technology, or similar
- 5+ years sales and/or product management experience
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude, understanding of assembly/disassembly of equipment and reading engineering drawings
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in the field both independently and with Service Technicians
- Have a service mindset and customer focus
- Must be self‑motivated, able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Position is office based or remote (home office). Visits to mills and manufacturing facilities are required. Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, lighting, heights, dust, dirt, fumes, welding equipment, and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for position:
Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, ascend/descend stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). All tasks performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
Travel within North America (USA & Canada, without restrictions). Minimal potential for international travel. Overnight travel approximately 50%.
