Market Manager - ILSCO/ERICO - Commercial USA Sales – Electrical Connections

In this dynamic role, you will lead demand creation and product expertise for the ILSCO/ERICO brands across the United States commercial market. Your work will drive revenue growth, expand market share, and deliver exceptional customer value while partnering closely with a dedicated sales team, marketing, product management, finance, and operations.

Location:

Anywhere in the United States with close proximity to a major airport. Up to 60% travel across the territory is required.

What You Will Experience In This Position
  • Partner to develop and implement sales strategies, including tailored value propositions for contractors, end‑users, specifying engineers, and channel partners.
  • Lead product training programs and mentor a high‑performing inside sales team.
  • Assist with quote management, pricing, and critical metrics to ensure profitability and analyze trends for improvement.
  • Provide product expertise, coordinate responses to end‑user questions, and build strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, finance, and operations to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Use CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to manage opportunities and communicate internal feedback.
  • Monitor sales data, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
You Have
  • 5+ years of technical product sales experience, preferably in electrical or industrial markets.
  • Experience working closely with product development and product management.
  • Ability to work remotely from a home office and travel 60% of the time with overnight trips expected; a valid driver’s license is required.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate with others to reach consensus.
  • High level of organization and time‑management, working independently with personal responsibility.
  • Voice of the customer role with effective communication across business functions.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (preferred) or equivalent technical sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B industrial or electrical product sales.
  • Familiarity with channel sales and distribution networks.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on a total target cash pay that includes base salary and sales incentive. Geographic regions A, B, and C have the following ranges:

  • Region A: $ – $
  • Region B: $ – $
  • Region C: $ – $

If annual sales performance exceeds the established goals, total target cash may exceed the pay scale maximum.
