Our client is a digital advertising agency and performance network looking for an experienced Advertising Sales Associate to join their growing team. The Advertising Sales Associate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, selling them on company services, and negotiating deals. You will be responsible for overseeing their client accounts; helping with initial enrollment and consulting throughout the relationship. You should understand performance-based marketing models and how to track and optimize campaigns.
You will be successful at this job if you excel in relationship building, analyzing marketing campaigns and are self-motivated. The ideal candidate would be someone who takes ownership of projects, work with minimal supervision and possess the ability to identify and solve issues. This position provides candidates with the opportunity for career development in a growing industry.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect and assess potential business deals and negotiate favorable terms
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals
- Manage numerous clients through daily email/AIM/phone interactions to review campaign performance and ROI
- Manage post-sale campaign revisions and billing issues, working with Finance as necessary to resolve any discrepancies and settle monthly invoicing
- Act as internal point of contact for Ad Operations, Media and Finance teams
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience in digital and online marketing
- Strong prospecting skills for telephone and email cold-calling
- Possess deal-making and negotiation skills
- Positive, energetic, dependable, resourceful, and willing to go the extra mile for clients
- Strong analytic, reporting and time management skills
- Ability to quickly learn about business operations and client contact
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Understanding of latest marketing trends
Requirements:
- Sales experience in digital and online marketing
- Experience with performance-based marketing models such as CPA, CPI, CPC, etc.
- Confident demeanor and high comfort level interacting with senior management and important clients
- Proven ability to multi-task effectively by maintaining a keen attention to details in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities
