Product Sales Engineer, Offshore Engineering
We are looking for talented individuals to join our high-performance team of Product Sales Engineers for our Offshore, Structural, and Pipe Stress engineering brands including SACS, MOSES, Maxsurf, STAAD, RAM, AutoPIPE, and ADINA. You will help grow market share of these brands in the US and Canada through sales campaigns, social media (such as Linked In), showcasing success stories, discovery calls, prospecting, organizing demonstrations, and more.
In this role, you’ll get unique insights into how structural, pipe stress, and offshore engineers operate and use software solutions, and you’ll leverage this to further advance the use of Bentley products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, results-oriented, and have a passion for delivering innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote and sell our structural, pipe stress, and offshore engineering software.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the engineering and construction industry.
- Design and deliver Sales Campaigns and Outcome-based Live Sessions
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the features and benefits of our software solutions.
- Expertly use Linked In and other social media means to engage prospects.
- Understand client needs and requirements and provide tailored software solutions that address their specific challenges.
- Develop a sales pipeline and forecast all revenue by effectively following the sales process and managing all opportunities in our CRM as a daily sales tool and reporting system.
- Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to gather client feedback and provide input for product enhancements and new features.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all commercial Offerings and software support policies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities and provide insights to the management team.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to generate leads and build brand awareness.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals consistently.
- This is a full-time, individual contributor role expected to work 40 hours per week, home-based in the United States.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
- Ability to travel 5% or less of the year.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Offshore/Civil/Structural Engineering, or relevant training and experience.
- Preferred minimum of one (1) year of technical sales experience within the Offshore Structural Industry or at a software company in Inside Sales, Financial Operations, or Customer Service, with a flair for communicating with accounts and maximizing the account’s outcomes and Bentley’s revenue.
- Familiarity with Bentley or other products, ideally with SACS, MOSES, Max Surf, STAAD, RAM, ADINA, or similar.
- A pleasant non-intrusive manner, positive attitude, eye for detail, resourceful and inquisitive.
- Self-starter, driven, and accountable.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate activities.
- Excellent English language and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information to users and prospects via phone and web.
- Excellent cross-collaboration skills with various internal departments.
- Ability to discuss product values, positioning, differentiation, and highlights.
