We are seeking a driven, commission‑based Sales Representative to proactively promote and sell Nextin Research products, leveraging our industry expertise and your network to build lasting client relationships. This fully remote role offers flexibility with occasional travel to our St.
Louis, Missouri office, industry trade shows, and client meetings via web conferences.
- Conduct proactive outreach to prospective clients in the food, supplement, and pet industries using digital tools like Linked In, email campaigns, and virtual demos to set appointments and close sales.
- Leverage Market Place's extensive industry connections, client database, and organizational ties to identify and pursue mid‑ to large‑sized B2B and B2C accounts.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations highlighting Nextin Research's forward‑looking insights, such as trend reports on consumer behaviors, functional ingredients, and pet parent motivations.
- Manage the full sales cycle for individual research reports via the website, while handling customized bundles, subscriptions, and renewal opportunities on a one‑to‑one basis.
- Collaborate with our marketing and research teams to tailor content for specific targets, track sales activities in CRM systems, and provide feedback on market trends to enhance offerings.
- Attend periodic industry trade shows, speaking engagements, and events where the company exhibits to network, generate leads, and represent Nextin Research.
- Monitor customer satisfaction post‑sale, address inquiries, and foster long‑term relationships to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in the nutrition, food, supplement, or pet industries.
- At least three years of experience working in the food, supplement, or pet industries, with a minimum of one year in sales or a client‑facing role.
- Proven ability to create and deliver presentations, leverage targeted content, and conduct product demos to engage prospects and close deals.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales dynamics in mid‑ to large‑sized organizations within the target industries.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while participating in occasional in‑person office visits, trade shows, and web‑based client meetings.
- Passion for food, pets, and wellness, with a resilient mindset that views "no" as an opportunity to build rapport.
- Knowledge of market research products, trend analysis, or data‑driven insights in nutrition‑related fields.
