What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Develop and manage a sales territory in collaboration with the Sales Manager, targeting company‑selected markets
  • Travel to client locations to promote and sell the employer's brand, securing business partnerships
  • Negotiate contracts and handle internal processes necessary for contract fulfillment
  • Establish credit and resolve billing issues for clients
  • Assist customers with product selection and expedite backorders and returns
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Previous experience in outside sales, preferably in the electrical supply or related industry
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle contract processes
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, particularly regarding billing and credit issues
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in the electrical or lighting supply industry
  • Familiarity with using sales management software or CRM systems
  • Involvement in professional associations related to the electrical supply industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
