Job Overview
This entry level position is responsible for growing sales across the Zahn Dental product range, with a primary focus on denture teeth, merchandise, digital materials, printing resins and denture materials within an assigned territory. Annual focus and strategy will be directed by the company; however, the core objective of this role is to add new customers while driving same‑store growth with existing accounts.
Note:
This position covers a territory including Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The preferred home base is Dallas; however, candidates located elsewhere within the territory may be considered.
- Achieve assigned Sales and Gross Profit (GP) goals by actively participating in and executing key sales initiatives and programs.
- Proactively lead sales activities within the territory by identifying new sales and business opportunities.
- Focus selling efforts on proactive dental lab account engagement across consumable merchandise, denture teeth, digital materials, printing resins and other denture solutions.
- Serve as a lead generator for high technology lab equipment and partner with High Tech Specialist to drive technology adoption.
- Execute face‑to‑face contact with dental laboratory customers including prospecting, high technology lead generation, account management, and business reviews.
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Plan, organize, and implement effective sales strategies using company programs, tools and initiatives to increase market share in lab consumable products and equipment.
- Utilize key tools such as BI‑driven customer analytics, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and value‑added customer education and technical support resources.
- Attend all sales meetings, dental lab and dentist conventions, seminars, internal training programs, and industry events as instructed by Director of Sales.
- Support the promotion of sales to drive attendance and build deeper customer relationships.
- Proactively develop, manage, and execute profitable sales opportunities within each account.
- Create and maintain customer‑specific business development plans through ongoing discovery.
- Partner with Tele‑sales and Hi‑Tech team members to maximize opportunities within each account.
- Drive leads across all Zahn product categories.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and technical support team to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Leverage vendor resources to uncover new opportunities and close sales.
- Drive company initiatives and execute KPIs to established standards to drive sales growth and market share.
- Perform at company indicated minimum standards to grow sales and market share.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
- Typically 0 to 3 years of professional sales experience.
- Dental or Lab sales experience preferred.
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline.
- Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
- May hold one or more industry certifications.

This position requires extensive travel and a willingness to engage customers at their locations. The TSM will be working in and at home office environment, utilizing typical office equipment. It will also require significant air/train/car travel across the United States depending on the locations of the customers and/or events, trade shows, company meetings. Travel requirement will be minimally 80%.
