What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify key players and initiate the sales cycle within a defined region
  • Generate new sales opportunities and set appointments for the enterprise sales team
  • Nurture marketing-generated inbound leads and develop them into qualified sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approaches
  • Maintain accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM application
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of one year of experience in prospecting for Enterprise SaaS companies
  • Understanding of the software procurement process in Federal agencies
  • Proven ability to engage in conversations with new prospects over the phone
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and previous use of sales enablement/engagement tools
  • Ambitious self-starter with relationship selling skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Well-developed interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills
