Orenco Systems, Inc. (subsidiary of Infiltrator Water Technologies) is a manufacturer of innovative onsite and decentralized wastewater collection and treatment technologies. Solutions include community collection systems, advanced secondary treatment systems, watertight fiberglass tanks, and in‑tank pumping and filtration systems. Orenco also manufactures high‑quality standard, custom, and OEM controls, along with state‑of‑the‑art fiberglass buildings, tanks, and enclosures. Infiltrator Water Technologies is a market leader within the onsite wastewater treatment industry, providing revolutionary products and environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional stone and pipe leach field and concrete septic wastewater system components.

Products are sold through wholesale distribution across the United States and Canada for properties with onsite wastewater treatment systems.

Remote Work Allowed

Remote work is permitted. Applicants may work from a remote location that meets the company’s requirements and is located in Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, or Florida.

General Position Summary

This advanced‑level sales position secures new business opportunities and maintains existing relationships for Orenco. The Area Sales Manager covers an assigned regional territory, assists Orenco distributors and dealers, and coordinates closely with the Account Manager and Regional Sales Manager to establish business plans and market strategies. The incumbent uses technical knowledge and training to assist customers in determining individualized needs, reviews system designs and recommends products appropriately, advises customers regarding equipment installation, usage, repair, and maintenance, troubleshoots system problems, and provides quality customer service in all internal and external interactions.

Ability to travel within region is required.

Essential Functions & KRA (Key Result Areas) Safety / Culture
  • Continuously maintain Orenco Management’s safety, cultural, and professional standards.
  • Promote, encourage, and reinforce a positive safety culture and safe work environment to all employees.
  • Conduct all work in a safe manner and promote safe work practices to all associates and clients.
Sales
  • Achieve quarterly and annual unit and revenue sales goals.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual objectives that support territory, regional, and/or company plans.
  • Educate external stakeholders.
  • Learn and demonstrate effective use of Integrity Selling.
  • Maintain a list of new business targets and potential growth through existing business partners, updating progress monthly.
Leadership
  • Demonstrate leadership within the regional and territory team, within the sales department, and within the organization.
  • Participate in all meetings and contribute ideas and opinions.
  • Improve methods for internal and customer‑facing processes.
  • Volunteer and participate in team, department, and organizational initiatives.
  • Coordinate with various departments within Orenco as necessary regarding team initiatives and objectives.
  • Set and strive to complete annual personal development goals.
Planning
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review and update quarterly and annual territory plans in conjunction with Account Manager(s). Assess and make necessary course corrections to maximize outcomes and overcome challenges.
  • Participate in establishing sales objectives for Orenco products within the assigned territory.
  • Provide necessary input on forecasting for assigned segments, as required, to assist with manufacturing and company planning.
Market Development
  • Increase Orenco’s reach and build acceptance of Orenco products and technologies by demonstrating leadership and influence within assigned territory.
  • Communicate Orenco’s vision and approach throughout the assigned territory.
  • Establish relationships with key and influential stakeholders.
  • Represent the company by presenting at trade shows and conferences.
  • Provide timely follow‑up and development of leads.
  • Identify new opportunities to influence or promote regulations that align with sales objectives and the betterment of the industry.
