DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - CCL, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH - CALIFORNIA (REMOTE)
Compass Group USA is looking for a Director of Business Development to aggressively sell business to the Behavioral Health sector in California.
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 + commissions.
Territory: California.

Job SummaryThe Director of Business Development will report to the Vice President of Sales, sell business, generate leads, and develop prospects in the assigned region. The candidate will educate prospects on the benefits of CCL, clearly establishing the value of our services and differentiating us through our service, culture, and commitment to fresh food and ingredients.
Essential Functions and Key Tasks- Actively prospect, nurture and develop opportunities
- Sell business and meet financial quotas
- Develop a strategic business plan to direct the development of new business opportunities
- Prepare proposals, presentations and prospect communications as required
- Update and maintain prospect database of contacts and sales activity
- Attend conferences as necessary
- Travel extensively
- Ability to prospect and develop the market and territory
- Ability to listen to clients, understand their needs and communicate effectively both with the client and within the organization
- Ability to build and foster relationships with individuals at all levels, representing the Culinary Services Group, Unidine & Coreworks culture and brand
- Ability to understand financials and meet financial quotas
- In‑depth knowledge of food service operations
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Business Development role in the food service management industry
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, CRM etc)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the assigned sales territory
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Must live within assigned territory
