Sales Account Manager

Our client is seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive significant revenue growth within the semiconductor manufacturing space. This role blends strategic account ownership with active new business development, offering the opportunity to influence both customer relationships and long-term commercial strategy within a technically sophisticated product environment.

This is a remote role with regular travel required;
Candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Austin or Dallas–Fort Worth Texas, or the Portland Oregon metro area.

  • Own and deliver an annual revenue target in the $20–30M range through a balanced mix of existing account growth and new customer acquisition.
  • Actively develop new business by prospecting, engaging, and converting mid-sized semiconductor organizations into long-term customers.
  • Manage and expand assigned accounts by identifying follow-on opportunities and introducing adjacent capabilities after initial penetration.
  • Maintain a hands-on presence with customers, frequently working onsite to support account management activities and build trusted technical relationships.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles involving advanced manufacturing and metrology solutions, aligning technical value to business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical, applications, and leadership teams to support customer needs and commercial strategy.
  • Travel extensively including domestic customer sites and periodic international travel for training and collaboration.
  • Approximately 10+ years of combined experience, including a strong technical foundation followed by proven success in a quota-carrying sales role.
  • Prior experience selling within semiconductor manufacturing, metrology, or closely related capital equipment environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to both hunt for new business and grow established accounts, with a clear track record of “making things happen.”
  • Existing industry network within semiconductor hubs and familiarity with selling into mid-sized organizations.
  • Comfort operating independently in a remote role while staying closely connected to a distributed sales team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally, including training at global headquarters and customer engagement abroad.
