Remote Travel Consultant

We are collaborating exclusively with a reputable travel brand who are now seeking an experienced UK based remote Travel Consultant to join its friendly and supportive team. Our client offers a range of travel services globally from luxury tailormade trips to corporate travel. If you are currently an independent travel agent, or have retail travel / tour operator sales experience with some regular clients, seeking an employed role that offers a lucrative salary, commission and remote working with career progression this is the role for you.

Each day will not be the same – Travel Consultant Duties:

* Designing itineraries for clients from tailormade luxury travel to adventure tours.

* Building a rapport with customers and establishing needs.

* Generate your own business, leveraging existing client relationships, and proactively grow your portfolio alongside the company.

* Converting enquiries into a sales and delighting each customer from start to finish.

* Using your travel knowledge to custom make a range of travel types globally.

* Booking flights, jets, hotels, airport lounges, tours, car hire, plus many more travel products.

* Using social media to increase presence.

* Liaising with suppliers to secure travel.

Travel Consultant – Essential Requirements:

* Experience with in sales for an established retail travel company, independent agent or tour operator is imperative.

* Travel sales professionals with initiative who are motivated to grow with the business, contribute to its evolution, and take ownership of their role rather than rely solely on inbound enquiry flow.

* Committed, hard working, tenacious with a huge passion for travel and be able to provide cutting edge customer service.

* Portfolio of regular clients who would book travel services.

* Proven track record in converting enquiries into a sale.

* We would consider a candidate who has been out of travel for a small amount of years who is driven and keen to get back into the industry.
