Hoods Unlimited is a leading commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning and fire‑life safety company serving restaurants, hospitality groups, and institutional kitchens across the Southeast. We are expanding in the Charlotte market and are seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager to hunt, win, and grow new commercial accounts.
This role is ideal for a self‑motivated, relationship‑driven salesperson who thrives in the field, enjoys opening doors, and wants a clear path to higher earnings and leadership growth.
Position OverviewThe Territory Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business by prospecting, visiting, and closing commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning services throughout Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. This is a true hunter role focused on new customer acquisition and long‑term account growth through recurring service agreements.
Compensation & Growth- Base Salary: $40,000–$45,000 annually (based on experience)
- Commission: 8%–12% on every sale, based on service frequency
- One‑time / annual services: lower commission tier
- Quarterly / bi‑monthly / monthly services: higher commission tier
- Year 1 Total Compensation Target: $60,000–$70,000+
- Annual Growth Plan:
- Each year includes level advancement, increased base salary, and higher earning potential based on performance

- Prospect and hunt for new commercial customers including restaurants, hotels, universities, healthcare facilities, and food service operations
- Conduct in‑person visits (“cold walk‑ins”), relationship building, and follow‑ups
- Identify decision‑makers and understand kitchen exhaust compliance requirements
- Gather site information, take photos, and coordinate quote creation with internal teams
- Present and close service agreements with an emphasis on recurring service contracts
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking
- Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Represent Hoods Unlimited professionally in the field and in the market
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Strong pipeline of qualified prospects
- Consistent closing of recurring service contracts
- High customer satisfaction and clean handoffs to operations
- Growing territory revenue month over month
- Advancement into higher compensation tiers year over year
- Proven experience in B2B sales, field sales, or territory management (service‑based industries preferred)
- Comfortable with cold outreach and face‑to‑face selling
- Strong communication, organization, and follow‑up skills
- Self‑starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Familiarity with restaurants, hospitality, or facilities management is a plus
- Clear expectations and realistic earning potential
- Recurring‑revenue sales model (not one‑and‑done deals)
