Sales Representative, Inbound Remote – Liberty Mutual Insurance

Location:

Connecticut (remote).

Work schedule:

4 weekdays and 1 weekend day, mid‑morning start (e.g., 11:00 am‑8:00 pm CST). All computer equipment and a professional home workspace with wired high‑speed internet (minimum 100 MBps download, 20 MBps upload) are provided.

Pay and Benefits

Base pay: $55,000 – $75,000 per year. Starting salary of $45,000 with growth potential. Average earnings range from $55,000 – $75,000 through base salary and commission. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical coverage from Day 1, paid training, licensing in all 50 states, no cold calls, and opportunities for rewards and recognition.

Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls and warm leads from the Contact Center Sales Organization.
  • Consult with customers on their insurance needs, matching appropriate coverages, products, and benefits to convert leads into policyholders.
  • Maintain a professional home workspace and reliable internet connection to support remote work.
  • Adhere to the company’s schedule of 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day for a minimum of 12 months before shift change consideration.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain integrity in all sales interactions.
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of sales experience preferred; 2 years of sales/service‑related experience required.
  • Strong, engaging interpersonal and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, decision‑making, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong typing capabilities and PC proficiency.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance license required; training provided if a license is not held.
Training and Licensing

Training extends over 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for unlicensed hires, and includes licensing to the Property & Casualty Insurance market if not already held.
