Forthright Case Management is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Nurse Case Management Sales Representative to generate referrals and grow partnerships across insurance, employer, healthcare, and government sectors. This is a client-facing, high-travel sales role focused on promoting our nurse case management services.
If you excel at outreach, building connections, closing opportunities, and managing accounts across multiple states, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities- Prospecting & New Business Development
Identify, engage, and nurture prospective referral sources, including insurance carriers, TPAs, brokers, and employers.
Research markets, initiate outreach, schedule meetings, and conduct presentations.
Attend networking events, trade shows, conferences, and association meetings.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Conduct virtual and in-person meetings to educate clients on nurse case management benefits.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers.
Serve as the point of contact between clients and internal teams.
Maintain an accurate and active pipeline in the CRM.
Ensure client satisfaction and assist with issue resolution.
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
- Auto insurance (minimum $100,000)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to travel extensively: ~4 states per month (up to 48 states per year)
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in:
- Healthcare sales
- Insurance brokerage
- Case management services
- Employer benefits
- B2B healthcare or SaaS/vendor solutions
- Strong understanding of workers’ compensation or disability/absence programs
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with CRM systems and digital scheduling tools
- Strong time management and calendar organization
- Consistent follow-up and clear communication
- Accurate and timely CRM documentation
- Ability to navigate long, complex sales cycles
