Position

As a Club Partnership Executive, you will manage and grow relationships with professional sports clubs across the UK and Europe, driving account revenue, retention and satisfaction. You’ll own a portfolio spanning football, rugby union, rugby league, cricket and more sporting opportunities, building multi‑stakeholder relationships (coaches, performance nutritionists, S&C leads, medical staff, procurement), and partnering cross‑functionally with Operations, Marketing and Finance to deliver a brilliant end‑to‑end experience.

Key

Account Management
  • Own a portfolio of professional club accounts across multiple sports; provide quarterly business reviews, growth plans and renewals.
  • Build trusted, multi‑level relationships (technical and commercial) to understand performance goals and align the right NX solutions.
  • Partner with Marketing to activate case studies, education sessions and sampling plans that increase adoption within squads and academies.
New Business & Pipeline
  • Identify, qualify and convert new club opportunities in line with NX’s B2B growth strategy for UK and Europe; maintain a healthy, prioritised pipeline.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, pricing options and presentations; manage trials/pilots and transition wins into steady‑state supply.
CRM & Revenue Operations
  • Keep opportunities, contacts and activities up to date in the CRM; use data to forecast accurately and spot upsell/cross‑sell moments.
  • Monitor account performance vs. target; take proactive actions to protect retention and expand category penetration.
Product & Performance Enablement
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and translate performance benefits credibly for technical audiences (nutritionists, S&C, medical).
  • Coordinate education content and workshops aligned to NX’s science‑led approach and brand guidelines.
Governance & Ways of Working
  • Follow agreed pricing, terms, credit and approvals; ensure documentation is complete and compliant for club or institute procurement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and playbooks; share insights that inform forecast, inventory and NPD priorities.
Requirements Essential experience & skills
  • Proven B2B/key account sales experience with multi‑stakeholder customers; track record of hitting targets and growing revenue.
  • Relationship builder and communicator, clear presenter, strong written skills, confident with senior and technical audiences.
  • Data‑driven operator, comfortable with sales metrics, forecasting and CRM hygiene; turns insights into action.
  • Sector understanding of professional sports and the sports‑nutrition market dynamics (club procurement cycles, seasonality, staff structures).
Nice to have (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with elite sport environments (academy to first‑team) and high‑performance workflows.
  • Knowledge of third‑party testing standards common in sport (e.g., Informed‑Sport) and how they impact purchasing decisions.
  • Experience using modern CRM platforms and BI dashboards for pipeline, forecast and account performance reviews.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Revenue vs. target and average order value (AOV) by club.
  • Club retention and category penetration (e.g., hydration, recovery, protein, accessories).
  • Forecast accuracy and CRM data quality (stage hygiene, next steps, close dates).
Other Information

As part of NX, team members will be entitled to an array of benefits, including:

  • 5% performance‑based bonus scheme
  • Company electric car
  • Cross‑company discounts
  • Pension scheme
  • Life assurance
  • Casual dress code
  • Cycle‑to‑work scheme
  • Professional development opportunities

Salary of up to £32,000 per annum.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days spent at Head Office and 2 working from home. The role involves regular UK travel and occasional EU travel to visit clubs, attend fixtures, activations and reviews (as needed by accounts).
