About the Role

As Sales Manager for the UK market, you will play a critical role in driving Akuvox’s regional growth across smart intercom, access control, and smart home solutions. This role is responsible for owning regional sales strategy and execution, building and expanding channel partnerships, and developing key direct customer relationships to achieve ambitious revenue targets. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify new market opportunities, strengthen Akuvox’s presence across the UK, and support the continued expansion of the business in Europe.

This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to shape go-to-market strategy while representing a globally recognised smart technology brand in a high-growth market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives, ensuring achievement of revenue and growth targets.
  • Own sales performance for the UK market, including forecasting, pipeline management, and deal execution.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen channel partnerships to establish stable, long-term customer relationships and expand regional distribution networks.
  • Identify, onboard, and develop new channel partners and routes to market.
  • Manage and grow key direct customer accounts, while actively identifying and developing new customers through multiple sales channels.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform sales strategy and regional planning.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support market expansion and brand growth in the region.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Frontline sales experience within the security, IoT, or related technology industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of international trade processes, including foreign trade documentation and end-to-end sales operations.
  • Familiarity with international market regulations, policies, conventions, and business practices.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Highly motivated, execution-focused, and proactive, with strong learning agility, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Candidates with permanent residency status and/or overseas study or work experience are preferred.
