An outstanding opportunity to commence a long-term career in Financial Services becoming a full time, fully employed, CII qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser working for one of the UK’s leading mortgage providers, with home-based working once you have completed your first 16 weeks of office-based training.

Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Adviser

• Telephone-based role focused on delivering quality mortgage and protection advice to customers.
• Contact customers, secure appointments, and progress mortgage and protection applications with support from Adviser Support Teams.
• Write in excess of 14 mortgages with protection each month; stay disciplined, motivated, and well organized.
• Focus on delivering professional, engaging communication and clear explanations of complex information.

Contract Basis: Full time, permanent, employed role.

Location: Initially office based for the first 11 weeks of training at our Academy Centre on Oxford Street in Manchester, followed by 5 weeks remote training. You will continue to be remote once qualified.

• Enhanced Salary & Guarantee Structure:
  • During the first 16 weeks of training, a basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £30K per annum.
  • From month 4 to month 6, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £30K per annum.
  • From month 7 to month 10, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £32.5K per annum.
  • From month 10 to month 16, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to £35K per annum.
  • From month 17, £25K basic salary plus unlimited commission, with a realistic OTE of £45K+.
• Post training salary: After 16 weeks, guaranteed additional monthly commission increases over the following 12 months; realistic OTE of £50K+ in the 2nd full year.
• CF1 & CF6: Full financial support to gain CF1 & CF6 qualifications, including materials and exam entry costs paid for.

Working hours during training: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Availability for the full 16 weeks with no planned holidays.

Post-training hours: A mix of 9:00 AM–6:00 PM and 11:00 AM–8:00 PM, Monday to Friday. No weekend or bank holiday work required.

Timeline: Immediate interviews with a May 2026 start.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• A strong desire to work within the Financial Services industry, particularly mortgages and protection.
• Recent graduation at 2:1 or higher or a strong track record in sales.
• Excellent inter-personal, communication, and listening skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Extremely well organized with a disciplined and structured approach to work.
• Highly competent with IT and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Please be aware that you are required to attend 11 weeks of office-based training in Manchester followed by 5 weeks remote; holiday during the training period is not permitted.
