Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Grade E: £26,732 (National) or £32,588 (London – for London office based or home‑based workers within the M25 boundary) – Additional homeworking allowance of £600 per annum for those working from home.

, you’ll help make sure our people have the learning, support and systems they need to deliver safe, high‑quality care across England.

What you will do
  • Support the smooth running of learning programmes by coordinating sessions and ensuring information on the Learning Management System is accurate and up to date.
  • Help improve how we respond to staff queries by spotting patterns, sharing insights, and suggesting simple changes that make things work better for everyone.
The role

You’ll be key in helping us deliver our work. In this role, you’ll:

  • Manage core learning admin
    :
    Handle high‑volume learning and OD queries, update the Learning Management System, and make sure programme information is accurate and completed on time.
  • Support staff and partners
    :
    Provide helpful, timely customer service to colleagues and external training providers, ensuring everyone receives clear information and a positive experience.
  • Keep processes running smoothly
    :
    Carry out day‑to‑day finance and admin tasks—such as raising purchase orders and quality‑checking data—so our programmes run efficiently and meet agreed standards.

We’ll be looking for specific skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience delivering HR or people‑related administration
    , including working with processes, responding to queries, and supporting a wide range of colleagues.
  • Experience managing high‑volume inboxes or queries
    , using your initiative to find answers, solve problems, and meet agreed service levels.
  • Ability to use digital systems confidently
    , such as Microsoft tools or learning/finance systems, to handle data, complete tasks accurately, and share information clearly.
