We’re looking for a Licensing Sales Executive to join our sales team in the UK - could it be you?


Role purpose

The Licensing Sales Executive will play a really important role in supporting Eficode's new licensing sales function. Reporting directly to the Licensing Sales Manager, you'll focus on driving software licensing sales through a combination of outbound prospecting and managing inbound opportunities. You will be responsible for contributing to the overall licensing revenue by targeting new business as well as expanding and renewing existing customer relationships.

While being a sales pro, you will become a subject matter expert in Eficode's software portfolio, with a particular focus on Atlassian as the key vendor. Your deep understanding of the software value proposition, licensing rules, procurement processes, and pricing will empower you to guide prospects and customers through the sales cycle.


Role responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as our will include (but won't belimited to):

  • Be an individual contributor / quota-holder for new license sales which will include outbound ‘hunting’ activity to drive net new licensing business, as well as cross-selling/up-selling within existing accounts
  • Help clients understand their licensing requirements whilst positioning Eficode as their license provider of choice
  • Lead negotiations for software licensing agreements, ensuring terms are favourable and aligned with company objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored licensing solutions.
  • Accurately forecast and track pipeline within our CRM and provide regular updates to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling value propositions and marketing materials
  • Work in close collaboration with the licensing team, the customer success team, the sales team, the business area teams, and management

Success factors

You will make a great match for this role if you have:

  • In-depth understanding of Atlassian licensing administration.
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a software or software services business
  • Experience engaging with key business stakeholders.
  • A genuine passion for providing the greatest possible customer experience internally and externally

Desired skills and qualifications:

It would be an added bonus if you have:

  • Experience working in an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM
